@Marvin Hudson

Hi Marvin,

I took an online real estate course and completed 75 hours of pre-license coursework because it was most convenient for me, although I feel I would have been less stressed in class. I used Exam Smart to study before my test also.

Hope that helps.

I am so excited!

Real estate is such an intense and competitive career and I'm so excited to continue growing in it. I started working as a broker in March of 2020 during Covid... and it really took a toll on me because I had zero clientele and as a newer broker I just took advantage of doing trainings and building up my social media marketing. Today I am gaining more traction, and my first deal under contract so happens to be a house hack deal! This property is a 4 unit building in a super hot market!! My client is also using a FHA 203k rehab loan. There were 4 other offers on this property and my clients offer WON! The most exciting part about it is seeing how it'll all turn out! The process is going great and the numbers look good! BP helped me so much with this one. I've been on here for quite a while and became knowledgeable in investing, so much that my clients felt 100% comfortable with me regardless of how fresh I was in the game. My fiancé and I are planning to invest very soon also, so this experience is definitely helpful!!

I LOVE BP!

@Colin Kelley

Hi Colin,

I do it every weekend. What this does is brings me buyer leads. Even if they’re not going to purchase that specific property I can always help them find something similar.

It’s all about learning and connecting with potential buyers. 😁

@Lamont Glover II

I’m a broker in Chicago working with two investors currently (my first ones actually) that had the same questions.

I’ve got one property - a 4 unit under contract now, it’ll be their first house hack. They will live in one unit and rent the rest. They also got the property with a 203k rehab loan.

I’m super excited for them!! What questions did you have?

Hello BP family,

I was curious on what may seem like a crazy question, but is it plausible to begin with little to not that much money, borrow from a hard money lender and agree to split profits in the end? Well, work something out basically? Contingent on the fact that it is a great investment deal.

Hello BP. My name is Lia. I recently received my brokers license, and new to BP. I am super interested in learning more about RE investing/becoming a landlord, etc... I did want to learn a little bit about Note Investing as well. I understand not many people are doing it because of the risk behind it. What are the pros and cons to doing it? How much capital do you need to start? Why or why not? Just curious.
