The house is in need of repairs and all of the estate fees and bills are taken care of.  The only thing is the back taxed. I got a letter in the mail that said they would not for close on the house if no one contact the courts.

My step-father left me a house. I tried to sell it at one point in time to settle his estate.  I had no luck in this. I fought with the courts until they finally closed the estate because the house has issues.  There are back taxes owed on this property that I thought they got cleared when the estate was closed. If so now do I get the deed put into my name and where do I go from here with this house. If not where do I go to in out how much taxes re owed on the property.
