Post: Looking for Contractor in GR

Hi all! My partner and I currently own 1 duplex in the city of GR. We are having a difficult time finding contractors to install some cabinets in our kitchen and I’m wondering if anyone knows any good ones to reach out to. Thank you for the help!

Hello All!

I, alongside my brother, have just recently purchased a duplex in Grand Rapids, MI. We are touching up one of the units currently and before we rent it out I was wondering what type of safety requirements do we need to follow to follow all local and national laws when it comes to landlording. Some obvious ones that stick out to me are smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors but how many and where and what else is required before legally renting out a unit. Thanks for the help!

Hello all,

I’m learning all that I can about real estate and buy and hold investing. One thing I’ve found difficult when analyzing properties is how to find out what a property will rent for. I’ve heard that one of the best ways is to talk to a property manager. Will they answer these questions for me even though I don’t have any properties yet? Are there any other free/inexpensive ways to find accurate information regarding this. Thanks for the help in advance!

@Brandon Koster

Hi, I’m a new investor looking in the Muskegon market. What are the neighborhoods you look to invest in and which ones do you avoid? I appreciate the insight in advance!

Hello all! My name is Teo and I'm a real estate newbie looking to invest in my hometown of Grand Rapids, MI. That being said I just graduated college and I currently live in Akron, OH for the moment. Any advice on how to get started in the Grand Rapids market/ out-of-state investing? Thank you for the help in advance!
