@Sue K.

Bernie may give everyone health insurance cards but don’t confuse that with quality healthcare. I have first hand knowledge of what that system is like from being on ACA insurance for about 3 years. It was easier and better to pay out of pocket for most things as the insurance and the providers who accepted it were limited.

Most quality doctors either do not participate in these types of programs or they do so begrudgingly. Not the set up most of us are looking for.

Kindly, Kevin

@E.S. Burrell

Absolutely possible with many potential clients. They could organize a member roster for those interested and solicit bids from major carriers. Only potential bargaining hindrance right now might be the state line boundaries and certain carriers only cover limited regions. Great idea!

Leah, great advice. There are flippers, wholesalers and then there are investors. I knew a guy who wanted to be an investor by doing a fix and flip. He later admitted that the wholesaler was the only one who really made money. Another investor I know wont touch a deal unless there is enough margin to pay all labor and materials.

This is not to say that sweat equity doesn’t pay off but Investors make money in the cleanest and less stressful manner possible....rarely does this include ripping up carpet and painting.

Did a few kitchens and i agree with everyone here on the big box retail. If you buy HD or Lowes off the rack it is almost headache free. One is dinged and you take it back. Set them a couple inches below ceiling and then have a skilled carpenter come in and place crown and trim—can turn out really nice, especially with nice countertops and under-mount lighting.

@Corben Briggs

Then willow trees and maybe a fence. It will require annual maintenance and will always be an eyesore...however it will also be reliable and environmentally pretty sound..i wouldn’t want one by choice but they are very common and often overshadowed but the beautiful properties that house them.

@Dillon LeRoy Pollard

If you don’t have much money to invest this game could take what you have and leave you in a bad place—one which you are unable to recover from.

There are many who will say you should leverage debt and credit but it is very dangerous.

Seeing you are in Pensacola means that you have many good options to generate income through lower risk options. Working for a property manager, managing VRBO’s, relocation for retirees or possibly estate sales and clean-outs would provide income while putting yourself in a place to find really good deals.

These sound like dead ends to some but becoming reputable and available is a great way to generate good deals. This may sound cryptic but do the right thing and the opportunity will present itself.
