Hi all,

I believe I can get all of the below with the county, but which county office do I usually go to?  Is the typically a property office?

-Property Tax Roll Information

-Ownership and deed type

-Lot size and dimensions

-Legal description

-Land use coding and deed restrictions

-Use and zoning

-Legal names of property owners

Can I get all this info in 1 visit?  Thanks!

Hello all,

Just finished up the 75 hour Real Estate Agent course and looking for a good review book before I take the test.  Google yields a lot of results; anyone have any recommendations?  Thanks

Stupid question, but do these really work?  I am looking at the samples and trying to picture how I would react if I got one in the mail.  I feel like I would think it's a scam...

After searching the site, I can't seem to find the basic appreciation formula.  Any insight?

Hello all,

I was playing around with the rental properties analysis while going through the MLS. What do you guys use when you come upon a property for, let's say, insurance? Obviously you aren't going to go and get a quote for every single potential listing you want to chase. Any insight? Thanks in advance.

@drewvukov Do you think it is critical to buy a rental property close to a LIRR station?

Hello all,

Does anyone have any experience with buy and hold on Long Island?  I am trying to gauge how fast rentals move on the island.

Thanks!
