It is more in Texas because they require 60 hours, but this is the school I think I'm going to pay for. Let us all know when you pass. @Lee S.

Wow, the lowest Kaplan price I have seen is $499.99. Must be different from state to state. I'm with you on the sitting in class thing. I'll eventually get a degree but I absolutely can't do the slow pace and boring professors.

I am a newbie currently exploring my options before choosing where to start. How and through what method of closing did you make your first mobile home deal? I am curious to see how it worked out for you and would like to hear about your first experience.

@Rhondalette W.

It is a house I could live in. Thank you for the connections and the information about the lower interest rates.

My mother got contact information for a lender from a real estate agent she has worked with before. The agent said she could call him and see how much of a loan she qualified for. The real estate agent knows that I am going to contact him too, but how do you approach them? What information will I need to give him in order to get the quote?

I am new as well and have found the podcast to be a load of information. Brandon (from the podcast) has said that it is never to early to learn your market and start viewing houses. I hope a more experienceed person replies but I hope this helps you until then.

This home is not listed for sale but no one has lived in it for the last 10 years. The next-door neighbors seems to think that a bank owns this house, but can't get it to sale. What are some of the ways that you all get in contact with owners like this? If it is a bank how do you all contact them?

@Hattie Dizmond foundation issues in the DFWarea is something I have notice growing up here and I know the soil shifts just never applied it to real estate. Thank you for explaining exactly why this "might" not be that big of a problem and teaching me to apply EVERYTHING I know about my area to real estate.
