Thank you for the warm welcome. I’m still considering which part of Houston I’d be interested in and would be best for us. I spent the beginning of my Houston living inside the loop; after a family and kids we moved outside the loop (Humble and now New Caney/Porter). My husband has lived here all of his life. So we know quite a few areas as residents, but not in the aspect of REI.

@Steven Foster Wilson, Thank you so much!! This is exactly what I did, so nice to know that this is what you recommend. I'm not sure how I came across the podcast but I'm so glad I did. I heard the most recent episode at that time and was so impressed so I immediately scrolled endlessly to episode 1 and I've been making my way through. After the first 2-3 guests recommended "Rich dad, Poor dad", I bought it, and "The E Myth". So next step, as you suggested, is starting to network, and getting to know others in the REI community.

So glad to know based on your suggestion I am on the right path.
