I am interested in connecting with buy & hold investors based in the DMV. I am based in Prince George's County where I am seeking to purchase my initial investment property. Looking forward to connecting!

Since FHA loans are for owner occupants only, is it possible for you to qualify for the FHA loan more than once? I'm assuming that the way you qualify for the loan a second and third time is if you continue to move to gain primary residency for the property you're using it for?

@Kelly Claiborne For me it's taking that initial step and not being fearful of the "what could go wrong mindset." But all in all, its finding the right deal that fits within my investing goals and determining how to finance it.

@Benjamin Seibert can you qualify for a commercial loan if at the moment you're only purchasing one property? I am a homeowner but currently do not have any investment properties under my belt.

@Benjamin Seibert @Andrea Weule This was helpful. Thanks so much for your responses.

Are there programs/other strategies that can be used to help finance an investment property where you're not required to be a primary resident of that property?
