Post: Refinancing with an LLC

Getting into small multi family BRRRR strategy and I'm a bit confused on how lending/refinancing works with an LLC.

From my understanding the majority of hard money lenders require an entity to lend to vs an individual, but when I go to refinance a bank doesn’t do refinancing into conventional loans with an entity? What does the entity do to refinance? I might be wrong in explaining, but I know there is a solution as many people have done this strategy.

Found a property with potential for a great flip. Looking for a qualified and licensed GC in the Opelika/Valley, Alabama area to take a look. Any referrals? The project is looking to be 40-50K.

@Jake Davis thank you for the advice!

I’m a new investor looking to get into my first house hacking. Found an agent who seems amazing. Good reviews, invests themselves, referenced, helped me find great financing etc... but they want to lock me in with a exclusive buyers agreement. I’ve heard good and bad reviews. What are your thoughts?

@Jason E. Smith Thank you!! I’ll check him out!

Looking to buy my first house hack in the Charlotte, NC area. I would like to find an agent who has investment properties of their own and a good amount experience. Im looking for a 4+ bed 2+ bath. Any references? Thank you.

Hi All,

Im a 22 year old in the Charlotte area that got introduced into wholesale real estate a few months ago and I want to get started ASAP. My goal is to use wholesale as a method to obtain capital for buy and hold. I’m eager to learn, but also I don’t want to get caught up in the fear or trying something completely new. What are some tips, marketing techniques that you use, and what can I do to stop from others trying to steal the deal from under me?

Thank you!
