Hi! I’m looking for a one bedroom or junior one bedroom to rent between 60-70th street in the upper East side. I’m an investor in Long Island and I’m having difficulty finding any decent deals on street easy and Zillow. Let me know if any fellow investors would have something and want to rent to me. Thanks!

Currently living in New York with one cash flowing property on Long Island. I am leaning more towards doing out of state investing next due to the high prices in New York but still would like to be fairly close to NY. Some areas in PA i have been looking into: Bethlehem, Wilkes-Barre, Scranton. thoughts on these areas? also wondering if student rentals in any of these areas would be worth it. thanks!

Finally in contract for my first investment property! I was looking to invest out of state for a while, but I ended up going with a duplex in Suffolk County, NY. Upstairs is a 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom +basement for downstairs unit. closing on july 1st!

There is minimal work to be done to the house but my one concern is only one hot water boiler. I am worried about how much it will cost me to pay for heating the house every winter, there will easily be 8+ people living in the house. any suggestion on if i should convert to to gas with separate meters? its a big costly job, is it worth it?

@Ryan Cleary maybe down the line but as of now no

@Ryan Cleary I’m looking for legal two families! Not interested In house hacking right now

I’m looking for a duplex in Suffolk or Nassau with decent taxes and good cash flow. Having a hard time finding things listed that don’t sell for above asking price. If anybody on here has anything that would work for me let me know! Something already tenant occupied is even better.

@Matt M. Thank you! Why don’t you like Bethlehem?
