Hello, also new agent here. Has anyone tried some creative way to meet potential clients like starting a side business loosely related to real estate like lawn care or small moving company?

I'm a new agent in a new area (double wammy!). I was wondering if anyone had some creative marketing and networking ideas they have implemented? I have hear of agents starting small lawn care businesses and such just to meet potential clients. Have you started any side gigs or other creative ideas for meeting contacts in a new area you are not from?

Hello, my name is Tanner. Started my profile because I will be moving to Rochester MN to be with my fiancé in August. She is currently renting a one bedroom 950sf apartment for $1200 a month. She has a great job there but not a lot of savings, I have 30k but my income is small right now because I just started a new branch of my families business that won't pay me much for the first year or so. Trying to figure out what the best move would be. Owning a home is less expensive in that area, so is building. Just trying to do research to see what would set us up the best for the future. Very excited to be here and to learn!
