@Tyler Hodgson I’m not satisfied with our current CPA and tax preparer and as I begin to invest i would like to have an accountant to run things by throughout the year to make sure I’m making smart decisions. The immediate need is to get an understanding of what our tax bill will be like next year as we paid Uncle Sam way too much, and to understand the tax benefits with different types of residential investments so I can make that a part of my proforma when analyzing deals. Do you also do tax prep?

Would greatly appreciate recommendations for an accountant who can provide tax and financial planning advice in the North Dallas area.

Hey all! Im currently looking for recommendations for a foundation engineer in the Oakland/East Bay area of Northern, CA who can provide an unbiased opinion on whether there are foundations issues that need to be resolved. By unbiased, I mean someone who is not employed by a foundation repair company. Does anyone know of a good foundation engineer in the area that you would recommend? Thanks in advance for any and all recommendations!

@Brent Coombs Thanks for the answer! Makes sense. I guess that’s the benefit of the BRRRR strategy is that you can use other people’s money to procure the distressed property, but have little exposure on the high interest rates because of your ability refi with more traditional financing in the short term.

Michael Biggs Thanks for the recommendation! I actually drove up there to see the 380 work this past weekend and that thought went through my mind. Will do some digging.

Matt C. Great topic here and thanks to everyone for responding! The wealth of information has been really great as I’m also a newbie in the DFW area. Does someone mind walking me through the numbers in Larry’s response on how the BRRRR strategy might make more sense in DFW?
