Hi all,

I have a 2 bed/1bath, 900 sq ft home that needs a kitchen renovation. Any recommendations on who can do the reno?  Haven't had much success with people I've used in the past for other properties

Thanks

Yep......just what the title says. I'm having a tree removed from one of my properties and the tree company accidentally dropped a limb which hit the roof and made what he described as a "hole" in the roof.  I'm literally omw to the house now to see it for myself.  From the pic he sent me it looks like a deep dent in the shingles, but he's calling it a hole, so I'm going with that.  My question is,  what now???  He offered to "run to Lowes to get what he needs in order to fix it" but somehow I don't think that's the correct answer.  I've never had to file an insurance claim or anything like that ever in my life, and I'm a fairly new investor,  so new territory here.  Grateful for any guidance on this.  I literally do not know what next steps to take.

Thanks

I agree with Caleb, take them down to avoid further hassle.  It will give you peace of mind. I'm in a similar situation now and having to get a huge oak tree removed from my rental property. The tree spans over my house and partially over the neighbor's house. A big limb just broke off due to the recent storm, and it's precariously perched on some other limbs.  I'm holding my breath that the limb stays put until the arborist arrives in a few days.  Your tree has already caused damage - bite the bullet and get it taken care of now.  Definitely get quotes from several individuals/companies.  I'm shocked at the wide range of prices I received from the different companies. Best of luck to you.
