My friend and mentor Teresa Kuhn, JD, RFC recently guested on a Jake and Gino's Wheelbarrow podcast to talk about her alternative strategy for financing real estate.  Teresa is a financial educator, insurance specialist, and former defense attorney who also passively invests in real estate.  She discussed how becoming one's own source of financing can have amazing wealth-building and tax consequences.

I had the privilege of spending a half hour picking Brian Burke's brain about his awesome book "The Hands-Off Investor."  If you are a passive real estate investor and you haven't read this book... you should.  Even experience people can learn something.
