I want to create passive income for myself and not have to deal that much with tenants, so I heard that property managers would be a good idea. But I've also heard that they can be quite costly.

I am currently in college, but when I graduate I want to invest in a multifamily apartment. My only issue is having to deal with the tenants. I hear lots of people talk about issues they had while dealing with tenants. Is there any way around this without being too costly, or does anyone else have any advice who did something similar?
