You could purchase the interest, and then file a partition suit against the other parties, forcing them to sell.

I have the exact same situation. Personally, I've not had that experience, it's been an acrimonious process Partitioning is the only t only avenue, think of it as a hostile takeover through the Courts. It's expensive but less expensive than posting a bail on a weapons charge.

I've had some very preliminary discussions with Hard Money Lenders, both have stated they only loan to LLC Entities. My natural assumption is that it's easier to foreclose on a property that's held by LLC vs an individual, especially in the State of Florida. Anyone have any insight to this requirement?

Thanx in adance

Right now I'm a joint 50 % owner in a residential unit, 'inheritance', debt free and I also have some acreage. So I'd like to rehab it and rent it. Ideally I'd like to use the equity as a catalyst to grow.

Hi, after following the site on Twitter for a year now I've decided to venture into the Biggerpockets community. Kind of a newbie both to the site and real estate investing. Looking forward to the learning experiences.
