I am new to being a landlord. My tenant’s dog has ripped the linoleum flooring in the kitchen. She has volunteered to replace it, however it already had a bit of previous damage from repairmen who came to work on the fridge prior to my tenant renting. What kind of flooring would be best and should I have her assist in funding the repairs? What steps do I need to take?
