It would be nice to put something together in Joplin.

Another Joplin guy here.  Get a hold of me sometime, I am always trying to connect with other locals here in town.

Nice to see more people on this site from Joplin.  PM me, I'd be more than happy to talk to both of you.  I have several rentals as well as actively build and remodel in Joplin and the surrounding area.

I'm here in Joplin.  Is this your first wholesale?

It's nice seeing another person from Joplin on here.  We had a monthly meetup going for a while but it fizzled out.  There is the local landlord association but I quit going because it was a little slow for me.  We really should start up something it seems like there are more and more on here from this area.   Not too long ago seemed like you'd get one local poster for a month or two then they would fall off the face of the earth.

Welcome to BP!  Contrary to what I said in my colleague request we have a meeting here in town tomorrow night.  It would be great if you were able to make it.

Curious if you went by and if so what you thought?

Spoke with Tom a bit already but I would be weary of the conditions of the structures.  They sat exposed for a good period of time on three of the buildings and the remainders were hurriedly thrown together.  My worry is there will be a lot of "finished" work that will need to be redone.  Just my opinion but a lot that was built was thrown up just good enough to get a draw so quality is suspect.  Also, I know there are a lot of liens out on it.  Those might be remedied when it sells but it's something I would definitely dig into thoroughly.  It could be a great property at the right price but there are a lot of things that look good on the surface that might not be so as you get into finishing.

I am local and have some apprehensions on the property.

Springfield makes Joplin, MO look like Podunk nowhere :(
