@ Angela Smith,

I have a realtor that helps me and they work with a title company. Bought 2 plots of land at Branson table Rock too through them. I will be selling those for profit.

so I've tried a couple of deals before this one and dealing with that I kind of got a hang of the values in the neighborhood. Looking on Zillow helped too to get an idea.

The previous deal I was trying to get was way worse than this property for the same money. so I feel better in the end.

I do own the title free and clear.

I have added some pictures i saw before i bought the property, In my opinion it doesn't look too bad, but than again you never know till you look lol

Sorry, my bad for the lack of info. :)

So I'm a truck driver and kind of wanted to do a buy and reno without me being there. That said, I bought it with the intention it to be a learning property for me. bought it cheap, no payments so no stress. I can understand that you think it's bold and maybe it is lol. Seen pictures of the insight tho and needs quite a bit of reno. I probably have to find someone that can go do a 1st look and maybe a rough estimate if possible.

It will be a rental. After research, I guess it'll be about anywhere from 60k to 70k worth if renovated and about 800 dollars in monthly income.

I know its not the perfect way of doing things and hope it will all work out, but I'm eager to start that 1st rental without me having to stop driving. got to keep the $$$ coming in lol

Any tips are welcome

Hi everyone,

I just bought my 1st property in Springfield, MO

a little bit about the house: it's a 1100sqf house 3 bed 1 bath. bought it for 25k cash. Haven't been inside yet. now the next step is rehab the place.

What is the best way to do this?

Does anyone know a general contractor that does financing?  I do have a little bit of cash but would like to keep that just in case.

Or would it be better to try to get a rehab loan from the bank?

Thank you in advance,

Sven S

Hi, I'm planning on buying my first fixer-upper in Springfield, MO.

It'll be a cash buy, fix it up then rent it out. Does anyone have experience in Springfield?

Thanks, Sven

Hi everyone,

I am ready to buy my first property, but not able to get a loan.

I have applied to my bank, online brokers, and small brokers. I have perfect credit, 100% on-time payment history. no dept and have savings. but no one wants to give me a loan just because I am self-employed under 2 years. It seems weird to me that that is the only reason for not providing a mortgage loan. anyone know what I can try to do. I have been self-employed for 1 year now.

Thank you
