Hello guys.. I'm working on my first new construction project near Temple University. It is a duplex with 4 beds and 2 baths in each unit. We got a construction loan from a local lender & our loan is about to mature with property unfinished. We did ask for extension, now we are seeking for refi options. Anyhow, I wanted to get some advice,, or guidelines.. for building a new building. Especially in Philadelphia, but I guess that only matters for permits. It's so confusing and I don't even know if we are doing it right, a lot of contractors are just.. like out on vacation.. not so helpful but then I don't want to stress them out. Any great tools for project management out there? Any advices or thoughts on how to bring this new construction into success? we currently have the framing done and windows and doors installed. no sprinkler, plumbing, elec done whatsoever... :'(
