This area intrigues me. Any advice on up and coming areas I should focus on from a buy and hold perspective? Want to research the areas before an up coming trip gauge price points.

You can find a real estate agent at a brokerage if that is the Avenue you choose but before you do anything you need to look up the real estate investing books here on bigger pockets and read them all. You will get a wealth of knowledge and a solid foundation. You will also get an actionable plan.

@Jingwen Dunford where do you even begin to look for a deal like that? Is that a word of mouth kind of deal or did you take a more typical route? MLS etc...
