@Account Closed, thanks for the welcome! My wife's parents have lived here all of their lives, yet I find myself still learning the area. I must say it's total culture shock from New England. But must admit I'm not missing the snow! Look forward to what can be accomplished here!

@Paul Timmins I have downloaded and read Bigger Pockets Ultimate Beginner's Guide as well as listened to most of the podcasts. I am going to get the books as well as I saw them and know they will be an important part of my learning. Have started looking into the REIA in the area. That will be next on the list. Thank you for your input as I highly regard all as being important to my success!

@Jared Lichtin I have been driving the area and fortunately my wife is from here so she has a sense of good vs bad...also have a broker that I have met that is helping me to learn and is great.
