Hello everyone!

I live in the greater Boston area, work in finance and have completed about 60% of Villanova's MBA program…not that I'm counting or anything! For the last few months, I've been listening to the podcasts and studying various forum threads when not immersed with working or studying, with the intention of learning as much as I could so that once grad school was completed, I could start investing. Turns out, the length of time between now and the Spring of 2019 is far too long for me to wait. Even though it would increase my workload (definitely not a workaholic, could you tell?), my short term goal is to buy my first property in the fall/winter of this year, followed by 2-3 units next year. Because the Boston market is pretty expensive and because my current schedule makes it difficult to be as hands on as I'd like, I'm looking to go out of state to find a 2-4 unit MFR, preferably in the Indianapolis area.

I'm really excited to be a part of the BP community - it's incredible how supportive and informational everyone is; I've learned so much and I have really appreciated all the time that others have put in to answering questions and helping those without any REI experience learn the business. I can't wait until I get a deal or two under my belt and have the skill set and knowledge base to help the next wave of newbies.
