my ac hasn't worked for about a week and i was wondering if it is rude of me to ask for my rent to be prorated at all for this month. in the mean time my daughters hermit crabs have died b/c of the heat and my newborn has gotten heat rash b/c of it. we have been staying at my parents or sleeping on the couch downstairs. i have had to borrow a window unit just to cool the living room enough to sleep inside. thanks,
