Hi Tom. I may have a good fit realtor for you. What areas will you be purchasing your properties in?

Hi all, I'm curious to know which bank you have a business account with for handling your rental property transactions. I usually use Chase but recently moved my properties under an LLC series and Chase does not do business accounts for series LLCs. I called Bank of America as well and got the same response. Are others running into this issue as well? I like the larger banks because they have locations at many places and also offer easy money transfer services like chase quickpay, which makes it easy for tenants to pay their rent. Does anyone know of a larger bank that does business checking accounts for series LLCs? Thank you, Sue

I'd be interested in a meet up. If we can get enough interest in this forum, then we should pick a time/place that works for everyone. I'm located in Wheeling and weekday evenings would work best for me.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned already since I haven't read through the entire thread but maybe you could have tried staging the home. I don't have first hand experience with this but have heard a lot of success stories with homes that were on the market for months and once the owner decided to have it staged, they had a contract in hand within weeks. From the quotes I've received, the cost is typically around 1% of the final sale price of the home. It's a good chunk of money but may be worth it if it can get the home sold quickly!

Hello everyone, I am on a search for an accountant in the Chicagoland area who is well-versed in real estate taxes. My current accountant does have knowledge of real estate but has been unreliable and unresponsive many times. I would like to find someone more dependable but also someone who is educated in real estate tax laws. If anyone can share their referrals, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks in advance, Sue
