I have two rentals which were originally home owner occupied homes. They both have mortgages in my name and was considering transferring the title in a LLC for liability purposes . What does everyone recommend ? Should I leave them in personal name and put a umbrella coverage on them ?

My other concern is will this be a issue getting additional properties if mortgages are under my personal name and the properties are in llc ?

Opinions ?

Saw a condo listed for sheriff sale auction. Was wondering did the HOA liens carry over to the new owner when it's sold at auction? Live in Ohio

Do you have to put any HOA liens when you buy a condo from sheriff auction. ?

Mayfield heights. Always went with cities in good schools . That typically brings more stability and families .

Found a small apartment 5 unit building around 350k. I know fha does not offer anything more than 4 units. Does anybody know any lenders that would do a 5 unit property?

Was looking at a property on sheriff sale . Has multiple tax liens on the property on the Recorder’s website . Are these tax liens wiped clear and the deed offered free and clear after purchase ?? Anything else you recommend to check ?
