Thank you Samantha, sage advice,, it seems the Hillsbourough approval process is quite different then in NJ , much much more convoluted.

Quote from @Account Closed:

Managing 16 units on 3 acres sounds like a big deal. Since you've got experience with home builds, you're probably already on the right track.

One tip I'd give is to stay super organized with your paperwork and permits; it can get messy fast. Also, consider chatting with someone who's been through a similar project for some real-world advice.

Micheal, I do not know him, unfortunately, but he sounds like a good person to know. I am also a home inspector so any realtor contact is good.

Thanks guys , Liam that is a possibility, I do however not mind doing the building. I guess we will weigh those options when time comes.

Hello All and thanks in advance.

Looking for resources on the Land Development New Build Process. I have (finally) landed an opportunity to develop 16 units on 3 acres in Tampa. The owner of the property has asked me to manage the process. I certainly could navigate it all myself, but I was hoping for some hints/tips to make the process smoother, could also use some sage advice on the process itself. I have built many homes before all in-fill however this is the largest project to date, next largest was a 5 unit townhome project but that was not much different from in-fill.

The current state is that we have an architect site/plot plan and need to engage the the County to get approval.

Any advice from y'all would be amazing, any one willing to let me pick there brain for 30 min would be even better.

Thanks everyone

Tampa  is looking good for the foreseeable future. I am a home inspector and soon to be an investor in the Tampa area , if you need me to check out anything for you let me know. I am always looking for investments and watching the local markets. Would love to connect with like-minded folks.

If you guys want boots on the ground in FL. I would definitely, be up for it. I have years building, flips, and spec homes. Admittedly haven't done anything since pre-2008. I am currently a home inspector in the Tampa Bay area which is booming currently. Let me know if I can help.
