@Cara Lonsdale  -- Thanks for the advice!

@Raimel Diaz --- I'm considering it. However, that involves having local internet access, I believe, meaning I would have to have a deal with one of the tenants on sharing their internet. I wanna try to stay away from that, but if installing steel security doors won't help, I might just have to go the camera route. Thanks for the input!

@Bob Hines -- That's what I'm thinking... installing security doors with steel frames, in addition to the regular doors that I already have, to enter the basement. Thank you for the advice!

@Peter MacKercher --Thanks for your input. I had a rep of mine come out there and talk to the subject tenant in person, explaining him that the basement is NOT a living quarters and etc. I also had him sign a 1 year month-to-month contract, which included the basement use clause. I'm strongly considering changing locks or maybe even upgrading to a keypad entry type of a lock. I will also be consulting a local attorney. Thanks, Peter!

@David Zheng --- it's in Carondelet. P.S. I believe I read your wild post somewhere recently, about confronting the homeless guy. I wouldn't want it to get to that point in my particular situation:).

@Joe Splitrock -- thanks so much for the input. Great info!

@Brad L. --- a very creative approach with the key trick :). I will consider that. No, no laundry there, but there's definitely space for storage, although the basements were pretty clean, when I did my visual walk-through, before purchasing the 4-plex. Thanks for the advice!

@Thomas S. --- Which makes the other tenants right, as they are saying that this one particular tenant is letting these strangers into the basement to party and sleep. I don't think it's just a random break-in from the street. Someone assists them in that. I don't have proof yet. Considering changing locks and will speak with a real estate attorney on my options. Thanks for the input.

@Amy Beth -- Will be contacting a local attorney tomorrow, to inquire more about the legal steps of getting this resolved. As far as keeping tenants out of the basement, I'm considering changing locks. I will share the attorney's thoughts on this, as soon as I consult with one tomorrow. Thank you.

@Michael C. Trippi --- Great idea. Definitely an option to patrol the grounds at night, until they just go away. Thanks.
