@Ryan Hazelwood

Hi Ryan I’m 36 just diving into commercial real estate investing. I have 0 properties as of right now looking to change that in the next 6 months to a year. I’m analyzing properties in different counties multi family between 5-20 units, starting in my backyard so I can be more hands on learning as today’s economic status and technology driven world pushes us toward a more data drivin virtual social approach. I’ve met with a landlord of one property just last week which was a bit daunting at first since I have only really started learning about 4 months ago so I really don’t have all the right answers, it was my first time. I’m working full time, but for the last couple of years I’ve had the idea that I somehow knew it was a route I wanted to take in my life, just had no idea where to start. My ultimate goal is to take my talents beyond the U.S my wife and I are avid travelers as she is a British citizen so it’s only in her blood lol. We want to be able to close the gap to easily visit family on our own time when we want, who is spread out and the traditional 9-5 doesn’t allow that freedom as majority of us know. My mother actually lives in New Mexico as well as majority of that side of my family. I wish you much success and hope you reach all of your goals as well as anyone and everyone else reading this and hope I can connect with amazing people

Wondering how some investors in the Van Nuys area are doing if you’ve recently invested?, or if you’ve bought and held property?

Hi, I am still going through the researching and understanding of the Real Estate business, just trying to gain and soak up as much knowledge as possible prior to getting my feet wet. I have come across Deal Machine and am curious to know of any REI who have had some experience using it? If so how has it been useful to you? Have you developed a strategy through the use of the app? How long have you been using it? Etc.

Hello @Joshua Duvall yes thank you that’s the type of outlet I am looking for to gain knowledge in the business as a whole I know I mentioned wholesaling in this post but although it’s not the only part of the business I am interested in. I’m not to familiar with meet up is there some type of group name I should be searching for, I am also very new on this BP app as well.

Thank you both @Bola Williams @Will Barnard I appreciate both of you providing some input through your own experience. I will be sure to keep my eyes open enough to steer away from the Salesman dream. I am looking for longevity in the real estate game and superficially connect with others without providing concrete substance on my part, it wouldn’t look trustworthy on my part to create the solid relationships I am interested in. Thanks fellas, I appreciate you.

I am just starting, diving into the inter workings of Real estate investing. I am very eager to link up and learn from someone who has gained a lot of experience who is willing to share their knowledge somewhat of a mentor you could say. I live in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles county. I would greatly appreciate your time. Thank You
