@Judy Best: Thanks for the Welcome! It's nice to see people being successful in my area. I'll have to check out The Charisma Myth. From what I've seen it can be helpful in much more than networking. My interest, (right now), is building up a rental portfolio that can supplement or replace my income. My "big" idea right now is to rent the house we own and live in now when we decide to upgrade. Not sure how long that'll be though.

@Jan Kerr Thanks for the welcome! I'm glad to hear this isn't a get rich quick scheme. It's hard to separate the wheat from the chaff in today's click-baity world. 

I've struggled with the introversion problem , (properly put social anxiety disorder), my whole life. It's quite an obstacle. I appreciate your words of encouragement. I'll keep taking baby steps until I make it. :)

Just stumbled onto BiggerPockets' youtube channel and found this community. I'm in my early 30's and about to have my first kid. Needless to say the future and being able to secure more money for my family has become a priority for me. I'm excited to learn and think I've found a great resource in BiggerPockets!

I've been over the beginner's guide and found it very helpful. What do people think of the books offered on here? I'm a bit gun shy because of a failed FBA business. Books self published on websites seem a little sketch to me because of this. 

My other question is are their any other super-introverts on here? How do you deal with the networking aspect of the business?
