Thanks for the welcome Brian, and I appreciate the info.

I'm getting into this a little later in life, I've got the family, the house, the cars, and I'm working a full time job trying to keep pace right now. I'm would like to do this in parallel obviously as I'm not in a position to up and leave my job. I wish i heard of house-hacking about 15 years ago, but right now it's probably not the way to go for us as our family would require more space than a multi family would allow. The resources I have available right now are evening and weekend time, and some equity in my home that I can leverage to get started.

I saw an article that was passed around the Dayton Meetup Community that the Lot Links program is discontinued as of last month, unfortunately. Not sure how positive this would be, the uptick in the market was a factor in the discontinuation, as more investors are becoming active in the area. The city didn't want to give up tax revenue.

Hello everyone,

I'm new to investing in real estate and looking to get my feet wet. I've found myself drifting along following the flow of the rat race and find myself wanting to work my way out. I've spent a lot of my time listening to the podcast lately after coming to the realization that I've been a spectator to my own life, grinding away to get ahead. I'm motivated, trying to utilize my free time to build financial freedom.

Right now I need to get a first deal done to get the ball rolling.

I'm looking forward to meeting and interacting with other investors through the BP forums!
