Hello Everybody,
My name is Steve and I've been inspired by just the thought of real estate. A little bit about my background is that I'm 23 and I was introduced to the idea last year from a mentor. Originally he told me about how he got started and said that since I didn't have the cash to buy and hold, that I should try wholesaling and I became infatuated with that idea. He gave me some more information about it and finally I dove right in. I started a mailing campaign and when I got that first call I was shocked because I didn't think it was going to work but also I didn't want people think I was trying to scam them or get over them. It was pretty amazing, but the problem was that I got overly excited with the phone ringing instead of actually getting the deal. I started to get lackadaisical with not calling sellers back and not follow up with mailing. One day I stumbled upon the Bigger Pockets podcast and I felt rejuvenated after listening to episode 93 with Erik Stark. Now I don't want to let this drive go and this time I want to get a deal out of this. After getting a couple of deals under my belt I want to finally invest in property of my own possibly getting a duplex or a triplex and starting my buy and hold journey from there. Guys with any feedback and advice you give to this young newbie it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you advance.
