Hello everyone,

My experience as an investor is primarily in Independence, MO.  I'm interested in a property in Mission, KS.  However, I'm not as familiar with the laws in Mission related to being a real estate investor.  Does anyone know about any real estate "gothchas" the city of Mission, KS?

Thank you in advance.

Steve

@Brandon Holley I'm starting off with a crawl, walk, run approach.  At this point I'm focused on 1 new property per quarter.  Then I will scale as I'm able.

@Andrew Bergman KC is a great market.  I've lived here for almost 30 years after growing up in Alaska.  Again, thank you for the encouragement!

@David O. Thank you.  I finally disregarded the reasons why I should not move forward and took action.  The rehab is taking a little longer than I expected, but I realize this is my first time and I'm learning a lot.

After thinking about it for 10 years, I've purchased my first rental property.  Looking to connect with like-minded investors.
