@Account Closed Many thanks, Keven - appreciate it. I'll give them a ring.

Hi All,

Does anyone have firsthand experience with local Dallas-based plumbers and electricians? I'm looking to update my knob and tube wiring in my triplex while I have some of the walls opened up and getting water heaters and gas lines moved/replaced. I'm not looking for the cheapest as this is a long-term investment and I'm very focused on quality. This place is already ridden with 'investor' style repair jobs.

Right now I'm speaking with Anchor Blue and O'Bryan for plumbing, and TopTech and Daryl Howard for electrical work. Any others worth recommending?

Thanks in advance,

Stephen

@Sanjay Murugesan I went with GreenWorks, as I got a small credit back through my realtor.

@Tiffany Chen Thanks, Tiffany. I'll keep this in mind in the future.

Hi All,

I just went under contract for a multi in Oak Lawn and am shopping for home inspectors. There's a number of well-rated providers on Yelp, and recommendations from my agent, but I'm wondering if there are any recommendations from DAL-based investors?

This property has value-add upside so I would ideally like to have a fulsome report to utilize for future upgrades/planning.

Thanks!

Hi there - I'm looking to start making offers in RVA and am curious if anyone knows of local mortgage lenders/brokers who are savvy with VA loans? I saw Doug Schuhle at Village Bank and CapCenter recommended in an earlier RVA lender thread.

Thanks!
