Hey guys!

I have my first house flip under contract. I called my local insurance agent about quoting the property. I explained it was a fix and flip and she provided a standard homeowners policy with what looks like coverage for builders risk/renovation. It was higher than I anticipated.

My question is, does any have a recommendation for an insurance company or agent who specializes in insuring fix and flips? Or anyone they would recommend to speak to about getting a quote.

Would also love any feedback on insuring these flips that maybe I’m not thinking of! Thanks in advance!

Hey guys! I would love some feedback from you all. I currently have 12 Rental Units. None of which are setup on any sort of rental app or online payment system. I know, i’m Stuck in the stone ages... In fact they still mail the checks to my P.O. Box. Haha.

Anyway, I’m ready to get things cleaned up and streamline things so that as i grow, i can just add them into my systems.

I am gravitating towards Buildium and Cozy based on what i have seen. Does anyone have any recommendations or preferences for these? I do plan to scale my business so i’m Not sure if one is better than the other for long term purposes.

Any help or ideas is appreciated. Thanks!
