@Cody L. I'm sure its a ton of working getting someone started in this field.

Hopefully that good heart intention and time spent will come back at you! And at the least, you may have stumbled onto another way to create income!

All the best in your future deals (and coaching experiences ;0)

@Karl B. I'm interested to know if you have made a decision after all of the suggestions. If so, please share!

I would agree with North Cal but rules and regs there are getting uncomfortable for some. I live in Colorado Springs and love the mountains and hiking but find that there is a shortage of water, large lakes etc.

I've lived in southern Alabama on the Gulf Shores and loved it, but possibly a shortage of woods and trails for you there.

If you want to check off your full list you might want to get bold and creative and look into Summerland, Penticton and Kamloops in British Columbia, Canada. Its a far stretch but throwing it out there as it fits all your requirements in excess. Beautiful large lakes and rivers, mountains and forest trails, great real estate investment opportunities, cheap land on the Canadian dollar (25% discount right now) and extremely friendly people who say "Eh" a lot ;0)

I am currently looking at 3 possible apprenticeship programs for apartment investing.

After doing thorough research on all 3 individuals they all seem to have a lot of experience (all own over 1500 doors and have 10 or more years in the field) but I have a shortage of personal recommendation from anyone that has taken their programs or knows them personally.

The 3 groups are:

-Peter Harris, Commercial Property Advisors

-Anthony Charra, SuccessClasses.com & Inner Circle Mentor

-Chad Doty, Multifamily Partner & 37th Parallel Properties

Anthony Charra is the closest to me, about an hour away, but the others mentor over the phone and online.

I would really appreciate hearing from people who know any or all of these mentors and can make recommendations accordingly.

Thanks in advance,

Stephen

@Joel Owens & @Abel Sng, Thanks so much for taking the time to respond.

I have felt that for the experience that is being offered that this is a reasonable agreement. There have been a lot of people saying that paying $250 for a mentor is an exorbitant amount but I see it as me receiving 250k (my split) that I possibly wouldn't have made on my own.

Abel, that is a great point about the non-compete agreement. I will check into that before pulling the trigger.

Once again, thanks for taking the time to sow back into the community!

God bless!

Hi there,

I am persuing cashflow through multifamily real estate investing. After a lot of study I believe that having a mentor is my best option to get started.

At the moment I have found a mentor that charges 50% split on all net Cashflow until $500k is reached ($250k each).

I believe that this mentor is very qualified due to his decades of experience and the books that he's authored and also books that he's co-authored with other well know real estate Moguls.

This is a big commitment into partnership and just wondering what the general populus thinks about this agreement.

Also, if anyone has suggestions for specifically apartment investing mentors I would appreciate it.

God bless
