Hey! First off, thanks to all who are going to respond and lead me in the right direction. I am looking to find out how to find a mentor to guide me through the processes of investing.

Hello everyone, thanks for reading and responding! I am brand new to the idea of investing in real estate. I’d like to get some more information on what it looks like to start out with $0, or what I need to do to better prepare myself. I’d like to communicate and network with others to learn how they have done it, or if someone can point me in the right direction! Thanks!

Hey Stephen,

First you are in the right and BEST place to start your journey!

If you are starting read as much as you can and learn, then decide what you want to invest in.

There are many ways to start with $0. You can find deals for other investors and participate on the deal. You can use other people money(OPM) to buy deals and make some profits for you and for them. But as I said before you need at least some basic knowledge to do this.

My last recommendation is to look for a mentor preferably a local investor. Work for free for them and your learning curve will be faster than than do everything for yourself.

Hope this can help.

Hey Mario! Thanks for your advice! Where can I find local investors? Do they hang out at typical places? Or is there a place I can search for them? :)
