Hi guys,

I'm a bit new to REI, as I haven't purchased my first home yet. I was hoping to gain some information on some of your favorite ways to find foreclosed and off-market homes, and how to go about pursuing them?

I live on Long Island, and there is a house down the block from me that’s been vacant for some time now. Clearly needs work, and I think would be a great first time learning experience with potential to cash flow. I was curious as to the steps I can take to pursue purchasing the property, from finding out who to contact all the way to the purchase.

I want to thank you in advance for any help you have given and very much appreciate you taking your time to do so. Much love!
