Thanks Drago, I appreciate your response. I'll definitely reach out along the way, thank you - Hope you're keeping well.

Hi,

When considering investing out of state, is it best practice to find a local lender in the market I want to invest in? Alternatively, can I get pre-approved online or with my bank and go from there before shopping between lenders?

Thanks!

Hey BP,

I’m about 2.5 weeks into my real estate journey. I’ve been completely immersed in educating myself with the basics and then some. I’m planning on going to some meet ups in the next couple of weeks.
Perhaps I’ll meet someone organically then and develop a relationship, but I figured I’d post to the forum as well as I want to hit the ground running.

I’ve been working in the TV and commercial industry for the last 11 years. I typically would work 12-16hr days. Now, I want to put that same amount of energy into learning and real estate investing so I won’t have to put that time into the film industry for the next 20 years.

I’m hoping to connect with a seasoned real estate investor who can help guide me on my journey. I know time is money and, understandably, not everyone wants to share their’s for free.

That said, working in the film Industry, I own and operate some of the best film cameras and equipment on the market. If you have social media content that you create or have any other need for high end video production, I can offer my services and/or equipment as compensation for your guidance a knowledge.

If this appeals to some folks out there let me know - I look forward to connecting.

Thanks!

Hello all,

I'd like to connect with some excellent real estate agents and property managers in the Milwaukee area. This will be an out of state investment for myself. If you have some recommendations, I'd love to connect with them.

Thank you!

Best,

- Stephen

Hi Erick,

Thank you for the welcome and your warm response! I'll certainly reach out once I've educated myself more.

Looking forward to connecting in the near future.

Best,

Hello,

I'm brand new to the bigger pockets community. I've worked in the Television and Film industry for the past 11 years. I've decided slowly back away from the industry and repurpose all time and energy into real estate investing.

I'm currently in the process of learning as much as I can about real estate investing (watching content, readings books, chatting with folks around me that invest in real estate).

Prior to understanding how to cashflow, I made to real estate investments simply because I didn't want my money sitting in the back.

I have a property in ABQ New Mexico that's currently listed with a mid-term rental company. I also have a development project on a condo that is about to break ground in Mexico.

Going forward, I'm going to invest in real estate with a specific purpose and intention, cash flow.

I'm excited to join the BP community and I'm looking forward to interacting with you.

Thanks!
