Scott can I intern for you? I only take up a little space. I can live in a dog kennel.

Hello, I am commiting myself to finding a good deal on a mfh that I can buy for no or low money down to do a househacking setup, but I need an agent to help me find the deals as I am not learned in analysis yet. Please let me know if anyone can work with me here.

Jamison, check out, https://www.biggerpockets.com/real-estate-investin... Go down to Page 29.

I am not accredited. Ian and Todd can you please give me more info.

I want to learn about this crowdfunding. I know i am young but one thing I have learned on my almost 30 years is when someone tries to tell me I CAN'T, it means I CAN, and they don't know how, so ask someone else.

Thanks, Frank. That's quite poetic. I am hoping to find some people I can get together and talk with in the local Area. I want to attend a local REI meetup here on Thursday. I hope people show up.

I would keep your money in your jeans.. if you want in the business Go work for a company that does what you want to learn to do.. get paid to learn... then once you have uber experience you can attract investors like some of the folks above have done.. they are not using their own dough they use others dough to run their deals.. LOL

We do a lot of notes over the years mainly in HML short term stuff the average demographic of a note investors is one that has Made a LOT of money in their day job.. IE business owner and their 401k.. for instance Buren Trucking IN alameda was a note buyer of mine... Or other professionals.

they then buy rentals   some tire of the rentals but they cash out of those and have 250 to 1 mil in cash to go buy notes... and that's just what they do.. and those posting above are in the business to create note opps for those folks and make a fee to do it.. that's what you want.. non of your own money and make a fee to help others until you have enough dough to do it yourself.

Thanks for the advice Jay. It would be my dream to get my hands dirty and actually work in the market, before I start seriously investing. I want to learn. Does anyone know any such companies in Southern California?

David, I was planning on taking courses to concentrate my education on Notes, but thanks for the feedback.

Thanks Bob, its an honor to get feedback from you, I was literally listening to the Podcast with you as a guest as I read this. I will definitely take the routes you spoke of for education. This is very encouraging!

Thanks, Andrew. I am exploring all my options right now.  If I invested remotely, I'd have to use a very good turnkey company, otherwise I would just move there. I could probably get off my feet anywhere with Ubering, but I don't know how well qualified you can be by just driving cab. Where ever I end up, I will be taking the real estate class, Century 21 has one here for 250 locally. I'm sure I could find a similar deal anywhere else. I haven't quite given up on California, especially if I am somehow able to break into discount note investing, then I guess I could live anywhere.

Like I said I am exploring all the different possible routes, and your feedback is priceless.

My bigger question is, by March I'll have about 15k in capital saved up, plus my full-time w-2 income. Is it even possible to be a Note investor in my situation? (Assuming I took topnotch Note education from say @Scott Carlson or that @Eddie? Speed gentleman)

I wont even try until I have invested on one of the in-depth courses to actually understand what's what.
