I’m about to own my first condo in Longueuil,QC but I will likely be leaving the province because of my work so I would like to find a property manager for my rental. Does anyone have recommendations for a property manager in the Montreal area?

Thank you!

Hi, anyone worked with a good property management company in Montreal, QC, Canada. I’m looking for a reference.

Thank you!

Hi Julie and Pavel, Thanks for your replies to my post. I have talked with a mortgage broker and my partner and I decided I would be the only person on the mortgage to avoid having to put 35% down. We will look for someone with more creative solutions for our next properties.

I’ve read that if his income comes from overseas if he wants to buy a property he’ll have to put 35% down payment.

We want to co-own 50/50, my income is from Canada and I would house hack and only put 5% down payment.

He would provide money for the down payment, and be a co owner if that’s possible.

Anyone has experience with co-owning a property in Canada with a partner who’s Canadian but works in the UK/overseas. Where could I find more details about this topic. Thank you!

More Canadian information
