Hi!

Anyone from Colombia interested in meeting for a coffee to talk about real estate investing?

I invest in real estate since 2015, own some rentals and do flips in Germany. I want to get into international short term rentals.

I am in Cali right now for a few weeks. Next stops are Medellín, Cartagena, San Andrés and Bogotá. Anyone from these citys here?

También hablo español fluido.

Hello!

Interested in brainstorming about investing?

I am an 35yr old investor looking for like-minded people and would like to meet you for a coffee.

What I can offer:

- my experience as a buy and hold investor (26 units)

- insight in the markets in Latin America and spain where I spent several years and in my home country Germany

- a good time :-)

Looking for:

- your experience, espacially with finding deals and raising capital

- general information about this area

I am also interested in vacational homes / AirBnB and mobile home parks.

I am just visiting the US until july 28th and will be in Florida most of the time. If you are interested in meeting, please send me a message.

Hispanohablantes muy bienvenidos! :-)

Hello Dave and Fradel!

Thanks for welcoming me here.

Yes Dave, I really think things are more complicated in other countries. And I drop my jaw when I first heard about the rents you guys can charge.

Thanks for the tipp, Fradel. I will try that.

Hello everybody!

My Name is Stefan Isenberg and I am an investor from Hannover in northern Germany, currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I found the BP podcasts on YouTube looking for information on real estate investing and since I heard the first podcast I am “addicted”, listening to several shows a week. I also read all of the BP books and find BP a great help.

I am 34 years old and work as a teacher for german as a foreign language. After graduating from college I kept my frugal student lifestyle, investing everything in real estate. So I could acquire a few small apartment buildings in Germany with a total of 26 units.

Until now, I only do buy and hold, but I want to quit my job here in Argentina at the end of the year, go back to Germany, work only a few hours as employee and concentrate on real estate. I am planning on converting one of my houses into an AirBnB “hotel” and start doing long term flips on multifamily houses.

Listening to the BP podcasts I really got interested in the US real estate market, because the stories you are telling seem amazing. Obviously regulations in the US are much less complicated, taxes lower, laws much more landlord-friendly and profit margins higher than in Germany. In July I am going to visit the US for the first time in order to get to know the market (and relax a bit on the beaches of Florida). It would be awesome if some investors in Florida and Connecticut could spare some time to tell me a bit about their business. In exchange I can invite you for coffee or dinner and tell you about the real estate market in South America and Europe. :-)

Someday I would like to get some buy and hold properties in the US with good cashflow (maybe in the Midwest), buy I think it is easier for a foreigner to start with a genuine business. I am very interested in short term rentals and in mobile home parks, so I am going to look into this business in Florida this year.

Looking forward to meeting you guys. Thanks :-)
