@Jonathan Oh I've worked with contractors remotely before, but this will be my first BRRRR. Luckily I do have the time and drive :) But I will be careful, thanks for the warning

Thanks for the perspective Nicholas, what you do is certainly valuable - I started out with some conventionally financed, recently rehabbed houses in Pittsburgh, and probably could have benefited from working with someone like you

@Nicholas Parish Thanks!

Yea, I do think it will be challenging, and I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew :)  I'm hoping to meet some great people that can help me make it happen

What draws me to it is: 1) Being able to get my money back out after a deal and go straight into buying another property 2) Being able to make sure the house is in great condition so I have lower maintenance costs 3) It makes slightly nicer neighborhoods make sense. Instead of C- houses that cash flow well, it now makes sense to be in neighborhoods where things will appraise higher

Just getting started here. I'm excited to fix up some bad properties, get some solid renters and refinance.  Seems like a great city the more I learn about it.

Hey Kansas City,

I'm a remote investor looking to enter Kansas City and start doing some BRRRR's! If you're a contractor, real estate agent or are doing something similar, I'd love to connect.

I'm looking at Raytown and Independence right now, ARV's of around 90k to 120k.

Looking forward to working with / chatting with you all!

Stefan

@Frank Ford @Tiffany Loi

Just wondering, did either of you end up purchasing a property through them?  If so, how has it been?

Thanks @David Lee Hall, III and @Michael A Swidorsky.  Sounds like it's not that hard, I just need to get a landscaper out there that's on the same page as me.

Hey all,

I have a SFR I purchased this winter. The front yard is steep, and so the landscaper the PM uses thinks that it is too steep for mulch or rock, and that I should keep grass and get it mowed. ($35 every 10 days).

Does anyone have suggestions for other options for low maintenance landscaping I could use?  Appreciate it.
