Hey Stevan,

I've been through this myself, and after talking with a few CPA's in the USA, have decided to use someone in the USA to get my ITIN.

Check the following post - if the costs are correct (which I'll assume they will be given the posters other comments) I can't see why anyone interested in US investing, would try to go through all the hassles of the W7 form & subsequent rejection from the IRS etc etc.

Take a look at the post:

Thanks for the replies guys.

Gary, I understand what you're saying, so i'll make my spreadsheet with the information I need in a similar order to above and make a start - thanks for the useful feedback.

Bryan, OK thanks for your reply anyway, I appreciate your comments. Interesting to know that not every MLS software has that function.

I'll take this opportunity to wish you guys and your extended families, a very Merry Christmas, and a healthy, happy & prosperous 2014.

(A week away from the internet next week - how will I cope?? Lol)

Hi,

I've been advised that licensed Real Estate agents are able to download information from the MLS relating to sales to cash buyers over the last 3 - 6 months (or more).

I wonder if one of the REA's reading this might be kind enough to provide me with a sample of a list from any state, just so I can see what it looks like - I'm trying to build a spreadsheet and need to use the format in a sample to build one.

Ideally I'd like the following information if at all possible, in either .csv or .xls (.xlsx) format.

•Cash buyers details (if available)

•Property Address – Street Address, City, State & Zip

•Original List Price & Current List Price

•Sold Price

•Square footage of the property

•Year built / Age

•Garage / basement

•Style – Frame, Brick, Stucco

•Layout - single story, 2 story, ranch, bi-level etc.

•Days on market

Any help would be very gratefully received.

Thanks

Steve
