Hi Casey. This would obviously depend on a few factors. Your personal risk tolerance, the cost of your current Umbrella Policy, and the limits you currently have on the 10 dwellings. Nashional Insurance would be happy to do a free analysis for you.

Quote from @Keith Tarasiewicz:

Hello Bigger Pockets community! I am thinking of moving into the Atlanta market for single family real estate investing/flipping/wholesaling and was wondering what the state of the market has been like recently. Are investors finding deals easily? How many homes do you have to look at before buying one? Is it an investor friendly state/market?

Congratulations Keith! Several of Nashional Insurances clients have started focusing on Georgia for their investment properties. A few are rent-by-room model. Insurance costs are a lot lower compared to other states especially TX right now.

@Troy P. There are insurers (personal, commercial, E&S lines) that will provide umbrella coverage without including auto depending on what state the dwellings are located in.  Most will require the primary residence to be included in the coverage.
