@Dan H. I will definitely research them and go and look. I appreciate your input. If you do move forward with them I hope you will keep us posted on your experience. Best, Stacey

@Ryan Zomorodi Thank you. I will absolutely reach out to them. I appreciate the referral.

@Kenneth Donaghy Thank you. $250 is closer to something I am interested in paying. The company is Ritz Design Build and the quoted me $250k to $280k for a 750sqft 2 bed 1.5 bath ADU. ($333 - $373 per sqft) It did include everything start to finish with the exclusion of appliances. I approached them as I am under a bit of a time constraint, but I really did not anticipate the pricing.

I appreciate your help, Stacey

@Andreas Blomst Thank you. I think this is a very good idea. I appreciate it!

@Orlando Perez thank you. I appreciate it. Good luck with your project as well.

@Kenneth Donaghy the company today wanted $333 to $375 per square foot but this included plans, design, permits etc. I was hoping for something closer to $200.

We have a property in San Diego near Balboa Park. We would like to build a permitted ADU. I have been getting pricing and it is twice what I am being told by people in the field. Has the building taken off to such a degree as to warrant almost twice the cost? Second, does anyone have a builder that they would recommend that knows this area and does not have to be micro managed? I am hoping to find someone who has done this work in my area recently and is reasonable, not cheap, but reasonable. Thank you!
