Ok. Thank you everyone. I would imagine it would be quite an involved process. The upside being separate meters is obviously more attractive from an investment standpoint.

Hey there. I'm new to REI and am working on finding a good deal for my first investment. I've come across a property that I like and that appears, at least initial numbers, to look like it might be a good deal. It's a duplex that has only 1 electric meter.

Would you split the meters up? And from you experience how difficult is it to split the meters up? Why or why not would help.

Thanks everyone!

I'm new to bigger pockets and the real estate investing industry itself. I currently do not have any properties other than my primary residence. I'm working on building up some money to begin investing. I'm looking for an opportunity to network and learn. If you don't mind a driven hungry newbie I would be interested.

Thanks @Roy N. It's really just been a thought in the back of my mind to open up a bed and breakfast type place right on the very very nice trails in Quebec. So any information on how to go about doing that is helpful! Thank you all!

Hey there. Thank you. I'm curious about all types of Canadian property. I'm looking mostly for businesses. Things like bed and breakfast. Someplace close to snowmobile trails and remote, not right in major cities is a plus!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. @Doug W. I'm not sure how the market is. I'm really just getting into this. However, I can tell you that Rome has become very, how to say this, dilapidated is maybe the right word for it. It seems as though Rome might be on it's way to breathing new life. It has a ways to go. But if we give up on it, it will never have a chance.

Hello there! I'm new to the this site and the forums. I'm an avid snowmobiler and I'm curious as to where I can find more information about the canadian real estate market. Particularly Quebec. Commercial and/or residential. Any help is appreciated!
