Thanks for the update to the email alerts. I was about to request the same change. I hope that change affects ALL alert emails. Telling me there was a new post only annoys me if I can't see the subject of the post. Also, for the "followed" discussions, the link in the email need to take me directly to the post that triggered the email, not to the top of the thread.

I do it all the time. 6 years running on one set of photos!

And for what it is worth, I would venture a guess that the Outer Banks real estate scene is much different than the farm country on west side of the sound.

Patrick Madigan appreciate the map. Not sure subforums for each of those areas will generate enough activity but the visual is good. I'd agree with William Walker that Onslow belongs in the Wilmington region. I could see the SE region stretching from the SC coast up to the Cape Carteret area but not much more than that or too far inland. So maybe Fayetteville/Southern Pines gets its own forum too as I do see a lot of posts from interested parties there.

Expounding a bit...I see maybe 7 forums: - Raleigh/Triangle/Eastern central - Charlotte/mid-central - Western (Asheville/Boone) - Greensboro - Southeastern (Jacksonville/Wilmington) - Northeastern (mostly bears and pines) - Outer Banks (because you can't get there from here) (they are really more SE VA anyway).

+1 for SE NC forum. Down here we don't much care about the Outer Banks. And while I have ties to Fayetteville, I don't think that fits here. More of an outlier to Raleigh IMHO.

Get an accountant. After 10 years of doing my own taxes it was $400 well spent.
