Hi everyone!

I have an appointment with my bank (Chase) to look at my options for a mortgage to get pre-approved.

Before my appointment I wanted some advice on what I should look out for. What not to say, and just basic information that I need to know to prepare for this appointment as it’s my first time.

I appreciate any advice.

Thanks in advance!

Hello Everyone!

I'm a new investor and planning to purchase my first rental property next year around spring time. I am currently shopping for deals and practicing my math at the same time. I'm looking to fund my investment with a conventional loan or go the route of FHA loan. I'm looking to purchase a multi-family property or a single family home.

My questions is if I wanted to get the property through my LLC, is that a good idea for someone who is just starting out? Could it possibly make it harder for me to get a loan?

I wanted some advice on that and maybe a different approach I could take for my first property without putting much of my own money in.

Thank you in advance for the answers!

@Ryan Chatman

Thank you so much. I would love to take a look at the excel deal analyzer. I’ve been looking at properties and would analyze the deal just to practice the “math” to make sure I am prepared and comfortable when analyzing my first property.

Thank you for the amazing advice.

Hello everyone,

For the past 6 months I have been educating my self about real estate investing. I’ve been doing a lot of research, listening to podcasts, reading books, and a lot of google.

I’m currently looking into buying my first rental property. I am very nervous and scared. The main thing after all the research I’ve been doing and educating myself I still feel like I don’t know anything. I am still reading books and always learning everyday.

My problem is I’m not very good at math and I know how important it is I’m real estate investing.

I wanted to get some advice from those of you out there who might have gone through what I am going through now.

What did you guys do? What steps did you take when buying your first property? What are some great resources?

I would love and appreciate as much advice as I can get.

Thank you all so much!
