I'm in the process of getting pre approvals. Just wondering the best way to find a reliable contractor in the San Antonio area that is familiar with the 2o3k loan process. What's the best way to seek out good contractors

Hello. I'm in the process of getting pre approvals

and deciding which lender I'm gonna go with.

I'm looking for a real estate agent in the San

Antonio area who is familiar with a 203k loans

and understands how to analyze multi family

properties. I'm preferably looking for a fourplex or

a triplex. But worst case scenario a duplex being

that I'm not seeing to many 3-4 unit properties. I'mn

looking for a property for around $230,000 and

below, that needs around $30,000 or a little more

in renovations. I want an agent with experience,

works full time, and is easy to contact when I

need them. I know this market is crazy, so I'm not

expecting a perfect grand slam dea. But I Def want

a property that will at least break even after all

expenses are paid each month while I live in one

unit for that year.. thank u

So, I'm fresh to San Antonio tx.. I looking into buying my first multi family property with an fha loan in about 3-4 months.. I know this isn't the best time to start investing, but my main objective is to get in, and experience the whole process of buying multi family home. Finding a lender,a good contractor, analyzing potential properties etc.

Crazy cause I've been reading and watching videos about this for almost a year and have alot of knowledge, but still a little overwhelmed about where to start..lol what's the best way to look for a lender? Should I just hop from bank to bank and get quotes? Is Finding a lender even the first step I should be taking lol

Its getting closer to our move to san Antonio. Me and my wife are trying to get a little team ready to help us get into our first multifamily house hack. I know the market is insane right now so hopefully we could find an agent, lender, contractor, and real estate lawyer etc. to help navigate this highly competitive market. Been chopping down debt, saving, and reading everything I could get my hands on to gain the knowledge I need to succeed. Any advice is welcome. And I would love to work with people who are familiar with 203k or other FHA/rehab loans.
